Internship opportunities
Our internships are paid, are typically full-time and never require coffee runs.
General internships
Paid internship opportunities are available year-round throughout the company, and a more formal program with access to Symetra’s leaders is offered every summer. Our interns make significant contributions to important projects and often become lasting members of our team.
Actuarial internships
Actuarial interns tackle some of the most important challenges of the insurance industry. We offer remote internships to candidates in pursuit of or who have earned a STEM related degree. We do not require an actuarial exam pass. Dates vary.
IT internships
Our IT internship program offers hands-on technical experience in the financial services industry to students and recent graduates. Opportunities include engineering, quality assurance, data science and program management. Join us as we continue our digital transformation!
